Five members of Sushant Singh Rajput’s extended family members killed in road accident

Lakhisarai: Five members of Late actor Sushant Singh Rajputs’s extended family killed in accident in Lakhisarai district of Bihar. Accident took place on Tuesday morning as the vehicle in which the relatives were travelling was collided with a truck loaded with LPG cylinder on National Highway 333.

Police said that the family was returning to their home at Bhandar village in Jamui district when their vehicle crashed into a truck carrying LPG cylinder which came from the opposite direction.

They were apparently travelling to Patna were they had to attend the last rites of the sister of senior Haryana police officer OP Singh. OP Singh is the brother-in-law of Sushant Singh Rajput who died on June 14, 2020 in suspicious circumstances.

Confirming the accident, which took place near the upgraded middle school at Pipra, Lakhisarai. Superintendent of police (SP) Sushil Kumar said, “the Sumo consisted of 10 people who were returning from Patna and the collision between the truck and Sumo was massive in which six people in the car died instantly and four were shifted to hospital and are in a critical condition”.

The deceased have been identified as Laljit Singh, his two sons Amit Shekhar alias Nemani Singh and Ram Chandra Singh, daughter Baby Devi, niece Anita Devi and the driver Preetam Kumar.
