The Maharashtra State Govt. has ordered a complete shutdown of private businesses in Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Additional Ambarnath Manufacturer’s Association (AAMA) has written a letter to all the companies citing they haven’t received any notice to shut down the companies. The letter is dated Friday, 20th March.

The companies, however, have continued working on Saturday despite the government orders to close the private businesses till 31 March.

According to sources, some companies continue to function with full capacity amid the coronavirus scare. Although the letter from AAMA suggested companies to work with less than 50% strength.
