Amid Bangladesh Crisis, India Forms Panel To Monitor Situation At Border

Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced a panel that will monitor the situation at the India-Bangladesh border and ensure the safety of Hindus. The committee will be headed by the ADG, Border Security Force, Eastern Command and consist of IG, BSF Frontier HQ South Bengal, IG, BSF Frontier HQ Tripura, Member (Planning & Development), Land Ports Authority of India (LPAI), and, Secretary, LPAI,. On August 5, Sheikh Hasina resigned and fled Dhaka amid protests. On 8th August, Mohammad Yunus took oath as the head of the interim government.
