Liz Truss, former British Prime Minister and the shortest-serving leader in UK history lost her parliamentary seat in the Friday election. Truss received 11,217 votes in South West Norfolk, trailing Labour candidate Terry Jermy who garnered 11,847 votes. Truss resigned after 44 days due to financial market turmoil caused by her unfunded tax cuts.
