According to the EMSC, a magnitude 6 earthquake struck off Japan’s Honshu east coast in Fukushima a day after a 7.4 magnitude quake hit Taiwan. The Japan Meteorological Agency reported the depth at 32 kilometers. Though a tsunami hit Japan’s Yonaguni Island after the Taiwan quake, no new warnings followed Japan’s quake.
