Namibia’s President, Hage Geingob, died in a hospital on Sunday at age 82, weeks after going abroad for cancer treatment. The presidency announced his passing at a Windhoek hospital but did not specify a cause. Geingob, who disclosed surviving prostate cancer as prime minister in 2014, was diagnosed after a check-up last month and went to the US for care from his medical team.
