The US announced major fee hikes for popular work visas including H-1B and L-1, heavily utilized by Indians. The first such increase since 2016 takes effect on April 1st. H-1B application fees rose from $460 to $780, and L-1 fees from $460 to $1,385. H-1B registration fees jump next year from $10 to $215. Investor EB-5 visa fees spiked from $3,675 to $11,160.
