Pune : Pune police have issued a lookout circular against KP Gosavi. in connection with a 2018 cheating case registered in Pune, a top official said on Wednesday. He one of the independent witnesses of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the cruise ship drugs seizure case.

“We have issued a lookout circular notice against KP Gosavi, who has been absconding in a 2018 cheating case registered against him with the Faraskhana police station,” Pune Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta said.

Gosavi is one of the independent witness of NCB in Aryan Khan’s drug case. He took a viral selfie with Aryan Khan after his detention in the Mumbai drugs-on-cruise case.

According to police, Gosavi is booked for looting Chinmay Deshmukh a Pune-based man on the pretext of offering a job in Malaysia. Gosavi took ₹ 3.09 lakh from him for offering the job.

Chinmay had registered a complaint against Gosavi’s fraud. The complaint said that Deshmukh had contacted Gosavi, who had put up an advertisement on social media about some vacancy in hotel industry in Malaysia.

“While promising a job in Malaysia, Gosavi collectively took ₹ 3.09 lakh from him in installments. However, he neither offered any job to him nor paid his money back,” an official from Faraskhana police station said.

The complaint against Gosavi was registered in 2018 under various IPC sections, including 420 (cheating), and relevant sections of the Information Technology Act.

Nawab Malik given Y+ security after his allegations on NCB

Minister Nawab Malik’s security has been increased by the Maharashtra Government. He has been provided Y+ security.

Under the Y+ security, he has been given four armed police guards with a pilot car and four armed police guards at his residence. Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Nawab Malik’s security detail was upgraded after he allegedly got threat calls from different states due to his press conference last week.

Malik had alleged that Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had carried out ‘fake’ raid on the luxury cruise liner of the Mumbai coast last week., where eight people including famous actor Shsh Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was arrested.

He had said, “Our allegation is that the BJP has been conspiring to defame Maharashtra, the Maharashtra government and Bollywood for the past one year. The drama of October 3 [NCB raid] was fake.”

Malik also told reporters that a person named “KP Gosavi” was seen bringing Aryan Khan to the NCB office in Mumbai. Referring to a viral photo, Nawab Malik had said, “He [Gosavi] also clicked a selfie with Aryan Khan. The NCB’s Delhi office later released a statement saying that he has nothing to do with NCB.”
