An Hour After Dhoni, Suresh Raina Announces His Retirement Too

After MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina (33) has also announced his retirement from international cricket. Suresh Raina made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka on 30 July 2005. Raina has scored 768 in 18 Tests and 5615 runs in 226 ODIs. He has 1605 runs in 78 T20s. Raina has scored 1 century in Tests and 5 in ODIs. He has a century in T20.

Raina and Dhoni play for the same team Chennai Super Kings in IPL

Raina is one of Dhoni’s closest friends. He has been playing for the Chennai Super Kings team, captained by Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the IPL since the beginning. He has scored 5368 runs in 193 matches of IPL. He also has a century in the IPL.

Raina will also be seen playing for Chennai in the IPL under Dhoni’s captaincy. The IPL is due to be held in the UAE from September 19 to November 10 due to Corona. For this, CSK team will leave for UAE on 21 August. Currently, all the players including Raina and Dhoni have joined the training camp at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
