Another Biggest Daily Hike: India Records More Than 13000 Coronavirus Cases In 24 Hours

Maharashtra remains the worst affected state with 120504 Coronavirus cases. Among them 53915 are active cases, 60838 have recovered.

 

New Delhi| Breaching another record of high daily toll, India today recorded highest ever jump in Coronavirus cases with more than 13000 cases. On Thursday, India had recorded more than 12000 new cases of Coronavirus. With this, the Coronavirus toll crossed the 3.8 Lakh mark.

As per the data shared by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India now has 380532 cases of Coronavirus. Out of them, 163248 are active cases whereas 204711 have been cured/discharged or migrated. The death toll due to Coronavirus in India has reached 12573. India today reported 13586 new COVID19 cases and 336 deaths in the last 24 hours.

Maharashtra remains the worst affected state with 120504 cases. Among them 53915 are active cases, 60838 have been cured whereas the death toll is at 5751. The state is followed by Tamil Nadu with 52334 cases and Delhi with 49979 cases. Gujarat remains the fourth most affected state with 25601 cases and 1591 deaths.

Madhya Pradesh: On Thursday, 182 new infected were found and 4 people died. There were 57 cases in Indore, 50 in Bhopal and 6 in Sagar. The number of infected in the state has gone up to 11 thousand 426, out of which 2308 are active cases. So far 486 people have died from Corona. The government has banned online education for children up to 5th standard.

Uttar Pradesh: On Thursday, 604 Corona patients increased and 23 deaths occurred on Thursday. 54 cases were found in Kanpur, 50 in Gautam Budh Nagar, 48 in Bulandshahr and 38 in Ghaziabad. The number of infected in the state has increased to 15 thousand 785, out of which 5659 are active cases. So far 488 have lost their lives from Corona.

Maharashtra: On Thursday, 3752 new patients were found and 100 lost their lives. The infection was confirmed in 28 police personnel and 3 died. The number of infected in the state is 1,20,504, out of which 53,902 are active cases. There have been 5751 deaths from Corona so far.

Bihar: 100 new infected were found here and 5 died on Thursday. There were 21 cases in Darbhanga, 19 in Rohtas and 14 in Patna. With this, the number of patients in the state increased to 7040, out of which 2035 are active cases. At the same time, 44 patients have died so far.
