New Delhi| Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday conducted a closed-door meeting with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Intelligence Bureau chief Arvind Kumar. Reportedly, Amit Shah discussed the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir with the two officials. The restrictions imposed in J&K on communication are being removed in phases.

The meeting comes on a day when the govt decided to ease some restrictions. As many as 190 schools reopened today across Jammu and Kashmir. However, these are the primary schools. The administration said that other schools will be reopened as soon as the situation returns to normalcy. Several government offices also were opened today.

However, several political leaders still remain under house arrest. Former Chief Minister and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti, National Conference leader Omar Abdullah, Farooq Abdullah etc are still facing the lockdown.
