On December 24, a group of people from the Bajrang Dal gathered at Saint John’s chowk in Agra and started sloganeering against the holy festival. One of the Bajrang Dal members said that Santa does not give gifts to but he converts people into his religion. After this incident, the Christian society has condemned this act of the Hindu right-wing group.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Hindu right-wing organization submitted a memorandum to the District Magistrate of Agra and blamed the Christian community for converting Hindu children into their missionary schools. The Bajrang Dal members said that Christian missionaries are heavily engaged in converting Hindu children into their religion.
