New Delhi| Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Bhupinder Singh Mann who was appointed by the Supreme Court on the four-member committee on Farm laws, has recused himself.
Mann, a former lawmaker was a part of the committee that the Supreme Court had formed after putting a stay on the farm laws. Mann, Anil Ghanwat, President of Shetkari Sangthana, Maharashtra; Pramod Kumar Joshi, director for South Asia, International Food Policy Research Institute, and agriculture economist Ashok Gulati were named in the panel formed by the Supreme Court. The Committee was asked to submit the report to the Supreme Court.
However, questions were raised on the impartiality of the committee formed.
