Cinema Halls, Multiplexes, Yoga Institute To Reopen In Maharashtra Outside Containment Zones From Today

Cinema Halls, multiplexes and theaters will be allowed to operate with a seating capacity of 50 per cent, as per the guidelines of the Maharashtra government.

 

Cinema halls, theaters and multiplexes, which have been closed for a long time due to Coronavirus havoc and lockdown, are opening from today. Theaters, play-houses, multiplexes, swimming pools and yoga institutions located outside the Containment Zone in Maharashtra have been allowed to reopen from today i.e. from November 5. For this, the state government has issued a guideline.

Cinema Halls, multiplexes and theaters will be allowed to operate with a seating capacity of 50 per cent, as per the guidelines of the Maharashtra government. There will be no arrangement of any kind of food items inside them.

In fact, all these establishments have been closed since the lockdown was implemented in March to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Last month, permission was given to reopen hotels and bars in the state. According to the new government guidelines, swimming pools used for training of state, national and international players and swimming bridges located outside the restricted areas can be reopened on November 5.

Apart from this, Yoga Institute, Badminton Hall, Tennis, Squash Court, Indoor Shooting Range can also be opened from Thursday. The guidelines state that physical distance and sanitization should be ensured. The remaining lockdown restrictions have already been extended until 30 November.
