The pediatrician Doctor Kafeel Khan has offered a roadmap to tackle Covid-19 in a handwritten letter to Prime Minister Modi.
Lucknow| Kafeel Khan, the pediatrician doctor who’s imprisoned for his speech in an anti-CAA protest, has written a two-page handwritten letter to Prime Minister Modi offering help to tackle the spread of coronavirus. He’s requested PM Modi to order his release so that he can serve the country in a fight against Covid-19.
Dr. Kafeel is currently imprisoned in Mathura Jail under the National Security Act (NSA).
The pediatrician doctor has offered a roadmap to tackle Covid-19 in a handwritten letter to Prime Minister Modi. He’s put forth roadmap to fight stage 3 of Covid-19, which will probably hit India by end of April.
The letter shared on his Twitter handle read, We should increase the testing strength ( 1 in each district), isolation wards (1000 in each district), opening of new ICUs, extensive training of the doctors/paramedics, support groups including AYUSH and private sectors, curb the rumors, avoid unscientific views and mobilize all resources as soon as possible.”

Kafeel Khan arrested by the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force in February from Mumbai after he allegedly made inflammatory remarks in an anti-CAA protest organized in Aligarh Muslim Univerity on December 12, 2019. He was slapped with the stringent National Security Act (NSA) on February 14.
Kafeel Khan made it to the news back in 2017 when he was suspended after the deaths of 30 children in Gorakhpur’s BRD hospital due to disruption in oxygen supply. He was later cleared of all the charges in a departmental inquiry.
