India Crosses 8 Million Covid-19 Cases, Daily Infection Rate Declining

According to data released by the Health Ministry, 49881 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the last 24 hours, taking India’s total figure to 80,40,203.

 

Even though the rate of increase in daily Covid-19 cases has gone down in India, the number of cases has crossed 8 million. In India, the total number of cases of Covid-19 has crossed 80 lakhs as the country reported 49000 new cases of Coronavirus in one day. India is the second country in the world after the United States (about 9 million), where the most Corona cases have been found. The death toll deaths due to Covid-19 had crossed the 1.20 lakh mark in the country.

According to data released by the Health Ministry, 49881 new cases of corona virus have been reported in the last 24 hours, taking India’s total figure to 80,40,203. At the same time, the death toll due to 517 new deaths has reached 1,20,527.

In India, the number of active cases currently stands at 603687, with a decline of 7116 active cases in the last 24 hours. So far 73,15,989 people have recovered from Corona. However, the death rate in India is one of the lowest.

Record cases in one day in Delhi

The cases of corona virus infection in Delhi continue to increase rapidly. The cases in the national capital today have broken all records. A total of 5673 new cases were reported here on Wednesday, the highest so far in a day. At the same time, a total of 40 people have also died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
