India Records More Than 30,000 Coronavirus Cases In A Day, Recovery Rate Jumps To 97.53%

Currently, 3,70,640 people are undergoing treatment for coronavirus in the country, which is 1.13 per cent of the total cases.

 

After 30,941 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in India in a day, the number of coronavirus infections in the country increased to 3,27,68,880. At the same time, the number of patients under treatment has come down to 3,70,640.

According to the updated data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Tuesday, the death toll rose to 4,38,560 after 350 more people died of the infection. Currently, 3,70,640 people are undergoing treatment for coronavirus in the country, which is 1.13 per cent of the total cases. The national recovery rate of patients is 97.53 per cent.

According to the data, a total of 52,15,41,098 samples have been tested for COVID-19 in the country so far, out of which 13,94,573 samples were tested on Monday. The daily infection rate is 2.22 per cent. At the same time, the weekly infection rate is 2.51 per cent, which is less than three per cent for the last 67 days. A total of 3,19,59,680 people have become infection free in the country so far and the Covid-19 mortality rate is 1.34 per cent.

A total of 64.05 crore doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines have been given in the country till Thursday morning.

The number of infected people in the country had crossed 20 lakh on August 7 last year, 30 lakh on August 23 and more than 40 lakh on September 5. At the same time, the total cases of infection crossed 50 lakhs on 16th September, 60 lakhs on 28th September, 70 lakhs on 11th October, 80 lakhs on 29th October and 90 lakhs on 20th November. In the country, these cases crossed one crore on December 19, crossed two crores on May 4 and crossed three crores on June 23.
