Low Intensity IED Blast Reported Near Israeli Embassy In Delhi, Security Increased For Diplomats

New Delhi| The bombings were reported Friday evening near the Israeli embassy on Aurangzeb Road, an upscale area of ​​the capital Delhi. The NIA team is reaching the blast site. At the same time, the team of Delhi Police Special Cell reached the spot and are gathering evidence of the blast there. Along with this, checking is also being done in the surrounding area. After the blast, the Delhi Police has sealed the entire area. A large number of police and CRPF have been deployed at the scene.

 

Foreign Minister S Jaishankar has spoken to Israeli Foreign Minister Gabby Ashkenazi after the blast. S Jaishankar has said that he has spoken to the foreign minister Gabby Ashkenazi about the explosion near the Israeli embassy and the govt has taken it very seriously. The Embassy and Israeli diplomats have been assured security. The Foreign Minister said that the matter is being investigated.

 

No casualties were reported in this blast

According to preliminary information, the mirrors of some cars parked there have been damaged in this blast. Delhi Police has confirmed the bombings. The Special Cell team has reached the spot for investigation and the entire area has been sealed. After receiving the information of the blast, Fire Officer Prem Lal, who reached the scene of the incident, said that he received a call about the blast at about 5:45 pm, after which his team reached the spot. No injuries were reported in the incident.
