Pakistan tests launch of ballistic missile Ghaznavi

Islamabad | Pakistan on Thursday tested a surface-to-surface ballistic missile, amid escalating tensions with India after the latter decided to revoke Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.

To this end, Major General Asif Ghafoor, spokesperson, Pakistan Armed Forces tweeted: “Pakistan carried out night training launch of surface to surface ballistic missile Ghaznavi, capable of delivering multiple types of warheads upto 290 KMs.”

President Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan conveyed their appreciation to the team, and congratulated the nation on the feat, he said.
