Rajinikanth Defers Political Jump Citing Health, Superstar Says Leaked Internal Letter Not From Him

In his internal note, Rajinikanth wrote, “I do not care about my life. I am concerned about the health of the people. I promised to bring political change.”

Chennai| Superstar Rajinikanth will not enter politics at the moment. The reason for this is said to be a coronavirus epidemic spreading in the country and his weak health. An internal note circulated in his group of close aides was allegedly leaked to the media, which mentioned that he didn’t want to take a risk during a raging pandemic.

The Times of India in its report quoted sources close to Rajinikanth as saying that the superstar has cited health in his statement. According to the source, Rajni does not want to take any chances in this phase of the epidemic. Especially, at a time when he underwent a kidney transplant in the US in 2016. The letter also states that Rajni’s doctors have advised him not to be active in politics before the vaccine for COVID-19 is available.

In his internal note, Rajnikanth wrote, “I do not care about my life. I am concerned about the health of the people. I promised to bring political change. I had to be active in politics. In the meantime, if my health deteriorates, the political process may face new challenges.”

“Leave it to fans to decide what should I do next?”

However, according to this report, Rajinikanth has not abandoned the idea of jumping in politics completely. He further wrote in his statement, “If I want to take advantage of this, I will have to launch the party before January 15 and have to announce my decision in December.”

He further writes, “I leave it to my fans and the public to decide what I should do based on the prevailing conditions of the time.”

The letter was circulated among friends and colleagues

Another source has said that the letter was circulated to get feedback among Rajni’s friends and colleagues, which was leaked by someone. The superstar is not happy with the development. Today, he posted a message on Twitter refuting that the letter was written by him.

He said that statement that is circulating on social media is not his statement. However, his health status and his Doctors’ advice mentioned in that statement is true. He said that he Will discuss with RMM and announce his decision about his political entry at the right time.
