Vikas Dubey’s Close Aid Amar Dubey Killed In A Police Encounter

Villagers said that Vikas had entrusted the work of recovery from liquor contracts to Amar Dubey. There are 5 cases registered against him.

 

Kanpur| Amar Dubey Deemed to be the right hand of absconding gangster Vikas Dubey, was killed in a police encounter near UP’s Hamirpur on Wednesday morning. The Special Task Force was constituted by UP administration to catch Vikas Dubey whose gang members killed 8 UP Cops during the raid on his house.

Amar Dubey was a relative of Vikram Dubey, the mastermind gangster of Bikru village Shootout. As per those close to Vikas Dubey, both Vikas and Amar trusted each other blindly. Amar was an expert in shooting, Amar was trying to escape to Madhya Pradesh when he was intercepted by UP STF.

Hours before the encounter, Amar Dubey arrived at his relative Narottam Dixit’s house in Aratra village in Maudaha area on Tuesday night. Reportedly, the relatives kept asking him to return home, but he stayed there from 10 am to 4 am. He left the house after that, following which he was killed in a police encounter.

The police had arrested Amar several times, but he was released every time. Villagers said that Vikas had entrusted the work of recovery from liquor contracts to Amar. There are 5 cases registered against Amar at Choubeypur police station. He was originally from Shivli police station area but had been living in Bikru village for the last few years. An abandoned car was found on the Dibiyapur highway in Auraiya on Sunday. Amar’s documents were found in the car, which showed that he also owned a house in Lucknow.
