Although the police have clearly mentioned that the permission will be given only to those with unavoidable reasons to travel, the site seems to have gathered huge traffic in the last hour and thus doesn’t seem to be working at the current moment.

The development comes after a huge crown of migrants gathered outside the Bandra station of Mumbai demanding a transport facility to go back home. Though the crowd was later dispersed, Maharashtra government came under heavy criticism for the gathering amidst the social distancing advice.

An activist named Vinay Dubey, who made videos and posts on social media urging the migrant workers to gather in huge numbers and protest against the lockdown has been arrested by the Mumbai police. A reporter of Marathi news channel who reported about the internal railway meeting has also been charged for spreading misinformation.
