Winning Punjab Is Challenging, Will Surely Win At UP, Manipur & Goa: Dilip Saikia

New Delhi : BJP national general secretary Dilip Saikia stated that his party will face challenge in winning Punjab, but will surely retain power at UP Manipur and Goa, in four out of five states. His statement comes amid upcoming assembly polls.

“We have the governments in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Manipur and Goa. We will definitely win the upcoming elections in these four states. The BJP-led NDA government will be again formed in four states with the help of people,” Dilip Saikia said.

In media interaction, Dilip Saikia said the BJP will face a tough challenge in Punjab. “We will face a tough challenge in Punjab, but we hope that we will be able to show better performance this time compared to last election. We need to do more hard work in Punjab. For the first time in the last three decades, the BJP is going to contest alone in all 117 assembly seats in Punjab,” Dilip Saikia said.

Expressing the surety of winning in Uttar Pradesh, Dilip Saikia said that in the state, the BJP will achieve its 300-plus target this time. “This time, we have set a 300 plus target in Uttar Pradesh and we will achieve the target. Before the formation of the Yogi Adityanath-led government, the people of Uttar Pradesh were unsecured, the law and order situation in the state was worse, people were terrified to come out of their homes, but the entire situation has now been changed,” Dilip Saikia said.

Further he stated that at Uttar Pradesh, a development rath has been started. this initiative is completely under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. “The people of Uttar Pradesh once again want to see Yogi Adityanath as the chief minister. What we have vowed to make a new developed Uttar Pradesh, the people of the state and our party workers will definitely fulfill it,” Dilip Saikia said.
