Approximately 27 workers from Jharkhand, stranded in Cameroon, have requested assistance from the Indian government for their evacuation. Originating from Bokaro, Giridih, and Hazaribagh, they were brought there by a private company on March 31. The workers, unpaid for four months, lack resources for essentials like food, water, and phone recharges.
