Delhi’s Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, withdrew his plea from the Supreme Court against his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate. Represented by senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi, Kejriwal cited a clash with the remand and withdrew the petition. A bench led by Justice Suresh Kumar Kait scheduled Kejriwal’s application seeking protection for further review on April 22, coinciding with the hearing of his primary petition challenging the summons. It directed the Enforcement Directorate to submit its response.
