Attorneys Allege ‘Pressure’ On Judiciary In Letter To CJI

A group of lawyers, including Harish Salve and Manan Kumar Mishra, wrote to the Chief Justice of India, accusing a “vested interest group” of pressuring the judiciary and tarnishing courts with frivolous logic and political agendas. Their letter, dated March 26, highlighted pressure tactics, especially in politically charged corruption cases, damaging the courts and democracy. The letter criticized certain unnamed lawyers for defending politicians by day and influencing judges through media manipulation by night.
