Thirteen schools in Bengaluru received bomb threats via email on Friday morning, according to police. The threatening emails claimed that explosives had been planted on the school premises. Authorities were promptly informed, leading to ongoing searches for any suspicious items within the schools.
Bomb disposal squads were deployed to the affected schools, located in Whitefield, Koramangala, Basveshnagar, Yelahanka, and Sadashivanagar. In response to the threat, one school issued a parental advisory, citing an unexpected security situation and prioritizing the immediate dispersal of students for their safety.
