Meanwhile, the saffron party has been alleging the grand old party of rigging elections for the party’s top post and claims it to be a fixed affair.

Bhartiya Janata Party’s national spokesperson, Shehzad Poonawalla on Monday jibed at the Congress’s presidential elections amid political turmoil in the state of Rajasthan.

“As Ashok Gehlot has said, that he will run for Congress president, on 19 October after he becomes Congress president” a media byte played by Times Now shows Ajay Maken saying during a media interaction.

The video however ends after Mr. Maken saying after saying “when after 19 October,  Ashok Gehlot becomes CM.”

Soon after the video was out Shehzad Poonawala tweeted, “Ajay Maken has already announced the winner of the “election” by saying that Gehlot will be President on 19th October.”
