Chhattisgarh: Maoist Carrying ₹ 1 Lakh Reward Killed In Encounter

A Maoist wanted in connection with 16 cases and carrying a bounty of ₹1 lakh was killed in an encounter with police in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district on Saturday. The gunfight occurred around 6:30 am near Banjarpara village under Polampalli police station limits, during an anti-Naxal operation. The operation targeted senior Maoists, including the Konta area committee secretary and area command-in-chief.
