Cyclone Remal, forming in the Bay of Bengal, is expected to hit West Bengal and Bangladesh on May 26. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts wind speeds of 110-120 km/h, gusting up to 135 km/h. The storm will coincide with Lok Sabha elections and is expected to weaken by May 27.
