On Thursday, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the excise policy case, following a visit by an ED team to his residence in North Delhi’s Civil Lines. The Delhi High Court’s denial of protection from coercive action earlier today preceded this development. Kejriwal had been summoned by the ED for the ninth time in connection to the excise policy case on Thursday.
