A Delhi court on Tuesday extended the judicial custody of Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader and Telangana lawmaker K Kavitha until April 9, following her interrogation by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The investigation pertains to money laundering allegations related to the now-cancelled Delhi excise policy 2021-22. Special judge Kaveri Baweja granted the ED’s request for Kavitha’s continued detention, citing concerns over her potential influence on witnesses and evidence tampering if released on bail.
