Delhi HC Dismisses CM Arvind Kejriwal’s Plea Against His Arrest In liquor Policy Case

The Delhi High Court on Tuesday rejected Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s petition contesting his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money laundering case related to an alleged excise scam. AAP announced plans to appeal the decision in the Supreme Court the next day. Consequently, Kejriwal, labeled the ‘kingpin’ by the ED in the liquor policy case, will stay in Tihar Jail until April 15, per the prior order of the Delhi Rouse Avenue court.
