“It is ridiculous that Arab and Islamic countries are angered by Indian politician #NupurSharma, he said.”
New Delhi: Amid the massive backlash from Islamic nations for her statements about Prophet Muhammad, former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma has found support in Geert Wilders, a far-right leader from and the Netherlands.
The Dutch leader said Nupur Sharma was telling the truth when she made the remarks and termed the anger of the Islamic countries as āridiculousā.
“It is ridiculous that Arab and Islamic countries are angered by Indian politician #NupurSharma
for speaking the truth about #ProphetMuhammad who indeed married Aisha when she was six years old and consumed the marriage when she was nine. Why does India apologize?” he tweeted on Monday.
He further said āAppeasement never works. Itāll only make things worse. So my dear friends from India, donāt be intimidated by Islamic countries. Stand up for freedom and be proud and steadfast in defending your politician #NupurSharma.”
Later on Wednesday after receiving massive backlash from netizens he tweeted “I receive many death threats now from Muslims who want to kill me for supporting #NupurSharma who spoke the truth and nothing but the truth about Muhammad and Aisha. My message to them is: go to hell. You have no morals. We stand for the truth. We stand for freedom”, the Chairman of the Party for freedom said.Ā

Donāt listen to the hypocrites. Islamic nations have no democracy, no rule of law, no freedom. They persecute minorities and disrespect human rights like no one else.
THEY should be criticized!
The ideology of #Muhammad is offensive and abusive, not the heroic #NupurSharma!

Nupur Sharma has already issued an apology for her statement and her party has not only suspended her but also clarified that the party does not encourage her views.
The Government officially clarified stating it accorded the “highest respect to all religions, and dismissed the remarks as “views of fringe elements”.
Speaking to Times Of India about her suspension Nupur Sharma said “Iāve practically grown up in the organization. I respect and accept their decision.”
