Gruesome Murder: Barber Slits Throats Of 2 Minor And Injures 1 In UP’s Badaun

A 22 year old barber allegedly murdered two children and seriously injured another in Uttar Pradesh’s Badaun on Tuesday .

Police stated that the barber was later shot dead in an encounter overnight between Tuesday and Wednesday. The incident caused a lot of anger in the city on Tuesday evening, but authorities say the situation is now calm.

The accused operated a barbershop across from the victims’ residence in Baba Colony, Badaun. He is believed to have been acquainted with deceased sons father, Vinod. M According to the police, the barber entered the victims’ house around 7:30 pm on Tuesday, asking for tea.

While the mother went to make tea, he went up to the terrace where three children—Aayush (13), Ahaan (7), and Piyush (6)—were playing. He attacked the boys with a sharp weapon, cutting the throats of two victims.

Upon receiving the entire information, the police quickly arrived at the location. However, the locals refused to let them take the children’s bodies. Angey locals also set fire to the accused’s shop.
Subsequently, additional police forces were deployed to the area, and the bodies of the children were sent for post-mortem examination.

According to the locals, the accused has disputes with the family in question. But responding to his sons’ brutal murder Vinod , said, “I didn’t know about the encounter with the accused. He was trying to escape, but the police apprehended him. We had no prior interaction with them. We’re unaware of why this happened.”

Budaun SSP Alok Priyadarshi stated that following the incident, the UP Police launched a manhunt, resulting in Sajid’s death in an encounter. The accused attempted to flee and fired at the police, leading to his demise in retaliatory gunfire.

Priyadarshi also mentioned, “The murder weapon and revolver have been recovered. The FIR also implicates the accused’s brother, Javed. Efforts are underway to locate him, and he will be apprehended soon. According to the family, the accused demanded Rs 5,000 from the father of the deceased children.”

Budan police officers and security personnel conducted a flag march in the city this morning and asked the locals to maintain peace and harmony.
