India’s UPI Services Launched In Sri Lanka, Mauritius

A week after its launch in France, Sri Lanka and Mauritius have now adopted the Indian digital payment system, Unified Payments Interface (UPI). Mauritius also introduced RuPay cards today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi actively participated in the virtual launch event with his Mauritian counterpart Pravind Jugnauth and Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
