New Delhi: India’s star pacer Jasprit Bumrah is likely to be ruled out of the upcoming T20 World Cup, starting October 16.

Bumrah is believed to be ruled out of the competition with a back injury. As per BCCI sources to ANI, the right-arm quick is out of action because of the complained of back pain. “Jasprit Bumrah complained of back pain during India’s practice session on Tuesday. The BCCI Medical Team assessed him. He is ruled out of the first #INDvSA T20I,” BCCI tweeted earlier on Wednesday.

Bumrah had not travelled with the team for the opening T20I against South Africa, played at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday.

Bumrah, who had also ruled out of the Asia Cup 2022 due to his back problem, and was training at the National Cricket Academy, played the last two T20Is against Australia.

Nayab Singh Saini, who was elected today as the BJP’s legislature party leader in Haryana, will take oath as the Chief Minister for the second time on Thursday.

He was elected as the state legislature party leader during a meeting of the newly elected Haryana BJP MLAs at the party office in Panchkula. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav were also present as central observers.

“I had announced that the results of the recruitment exam of 24,000 youths will be declared first, and after that, I will take oath. Fulfilling that promise, the results will be declared tomorrow. The BJP does what it says,” Saini said while speaking at the meeting.

Earlier in the month, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) made history by winning a third consecutive term in Haryana, winning 48 seats in the assembly polls, while the Congress bagged 37 seats.
