Kerala Requests Centre To Release Rs 637 Crore NHM Grant

Kerala has urged the Centre to disburse an overdue grant of Rs 637 crore and approve the first installment for the National Health Mission operations in the state for the current financial year. State Health Minister Veena George has written to Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda regarding this matter.

The Chief Election Commissioner announced that in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, India has 96.8 crore registered voters, including 1.8 crore new voters who recently turned 18. 10.5 lakh polling stations and 55 lakh electronic voting machines will be utilized, managed by 1.5 crore polling officials. Additionally, there are 88.4 lakh voters with disabilities and 48,000 from the transgender community.
