Maldives: 2nd Batch Of Indian Troops Leaves, President Muizzu Confirms

President Mohamed Muizzu of the Maldives has stated that the second group of Indian military personnel, operating a helicopter gifted by India, has departed from the island nation as per his request. Muizzu, known for his pro-China stance, reiterated that foreign ambassadors in Male do not hold authority over him, emphasizing that power ultimately lies with the citizens. Previously, he accused his predecessor, Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, of acting on the orders of a foreign ambassador without specifying the country.
