The Supreme Court on Monday stayed legal proceedings against Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and others related to a protest march held in 2022. The court issued notice to the Karnataka government and the complainant. Following the high court’s order, a fine was imposed on Siddaramaiah and others. The case was registered after they led a march demanding the resignation of a minister.
