Supreme Court To Urgently Hear Plea On ‘Delay’ In Voter Turnout

The Supreme Court will hear a petition filed by the Association for Democratic Reforms on May 17 seeking the immediate release of voter turnout numbers by the Election Commission after delays in publishing data for the first two phases of the Lok Sabha elections. The petition follows the April 30 release of turnout percentages without total voter numbers.
