Tripura Government Demolishes Illegal Structure Of Bharat Ratna Club

The Tripura government demolished the Bharat Ratna Club building in Agartala, built on government land. This action followed a show cause notice issued after the club’s secretary was fatally shot recently. West District Magistrate Dr Vishal Kumar stated that the demolition was lawful, aiming to clear land for future government projects and send a stern message against illegal activities like land encroachment and smuggling.
