Uttarakhand Government Removes Controversial Forest Officer

The Uttarakhand government removed IFS officer Rahul from his post. This comes after Rajaji Tiger Reserve director after the Supreme Court criticized CM Pushkar Singh Dhami over the appointment. Rahul, who faces ED and CBI investigations for illegal tree felling in Jim Corbett National Park, was transferred to a monitoring and IT post. His previous removal followed allegations of unlawful activity, and the ongoing probe has kept him in the spotlight.
