51% Of Applications Under PM CARES For Children Rejected

About 51% of applications under the PM CARES for Children scheme, aimed at supporting COVID orphans who lost parents or guardians between March 11, 2020, and May 5, 2023, have been rejected, officials reported. The scheme, launched on May 29, 2021, received 9,331 applications from 613 districts across 33 states and union territories.
