AAP Holds ‘Mass Fast’ At Jantar Mantar Over Kejriwal’s Arrest

AAP plans a ‘mass fast’ across India and globally on Sunday, April 7, 2024, to support Arvind Kejriwal and protest his arrest by the ED in the Delhi liquor policy case. AAP Delhi Minister Gopal Rai announced that from 10 am on Sunday, AAP representatives, including MLAs, MPs, office bearers, as well as party members and supporters, will fast at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi and Bhagat Singh’s village Khatkhar Kalan in Punjab. Additionally, the fast will be observed in capital cities of 25 Indian states, along with major international cities like New York, Boston, Los Angeles, and Washington DC in the US, Toronto in Canada, Melbourne in Australia, and London in the UK, among others worldwide.
