BJP criticises Rahul Gandhi on demonetisation remark

New Delhi | Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) on Friday criticised Congress President Rahul Gandhi for his remark on Demonetisation where he questioned if anyone has seen a rich man standing in ATM queue during demonetisation.

Addressing a press conference, BJP National spokesperson Sambit Patra said, “Today Rahul ji in Chhattisgarh asked ‘did anyone saw any rich black money holder get out of a big car and stand in the line during Demonetisation’? Would like to tell him yes we saw you get out of your 4 crore car and stand in line”

Attacking the Congress president Patra said, “Three lakh shell companies were functioning under Rahul Gandhi’s watch and why were they being ignored. Stating PM Modi speech in Chhattisgarh where he alleged Congress party of supporting Urban Naxals, Patra said, “Congress leaders had tweeted calling urban Naxals ‘NGOs’ and even called them revolutionaries.”

Sambit Patra also questioned Omar Abdullah’s statement criticinsing Centre government’s participation in a dialogue on Afghanistan in the presence of Taliban representatives while holding no talks with stakeholders in Jammu and Kashmir. He said,” The Abdullah family wakes up every day and asks for autonomy. If after ruling the state for three generations, they still think that Kashmir is a complicated issue, it is time they give the answers and not just ask question.
