Vasundhara Raje to give 500 rupees to buy mobile phones in Rajasthan

Jaipur | Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje ahead of the upcoming polls in Rajasthan on Tuesday announced that the state government will provide financial assistance worth one thousand rupees to the families coming under ‘Bhamashah Scheme’ for the purchase of mobile phones.

Addressing a rally for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes benefited by the government schemes, Raje said,” We will give you Rs. 500 as a first installment and then if you buy a phone, another Rs. 500 to connect with the Internet will be given. If you don’t buy a phone you won’t get the second installment.”

Vasundhara Raje who is currently on ‘Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra’ in order to connect the voters attacked the Congress party for its negligence in providing government jobs and medical facilities. Raje said, “Congress promised that they will give 300 crores for free treatment, while we have provided mediclaim of Rs 2100 crore”. Counting the government’s achievement, the BJP leader further added that under the ‘Bhamashah Health Insurance scheme’, poor people are getting free treatment in big hospitals. Raje alleged that the Congress halted the employment of the Cleanliness workers for a long time, but we have completed the recruitment of 21 thousand cleanliness workers.

Responding to the promises made by Vasundhara Raje, Congress leader Sachin Pilot said,” If someone is getting benefits from a government scheme, the government is not doing a favour. It’s the government’s job to provide schemes. Whatever promises they are making today, from giving money for phones to internet, they are doing it to hide their failures.”

Assembly election will be conducted in the state of Rajasthan along with the state of Madhya Pradesh and Chhatisgarh at the year-end.
