Breaking: Maharashtra Government Withdraws Cases Filed In Maratha Agitation, Bhima-Koregaon & Nanar Refinery Cases

Mahavikas Aghadi Government in Maharashtra withdrew the cases filed against agitators in Maratha Agitation, Bhima-Koregaon & Nanar refinery cases.

Mumbai| The coalition government in Maharashtra has withdrawn 348 cases out of 649 cases filed in Bhima-Koregaon violence. It has also withdrawn 460 cases out of 548 cases filed in Maratha reservation agitation. In the case of Nanar refinery, 3 cases have been withdrawn out of 5 filed cases.

Kolkata | The Trinamool Congress (TMC) leadership on Wednesday expelled its Bolpur MP Anupam Hazra for anti-party activities.

Earlier in the day, the party had expelled Bishnupur Lok Sabha MP Saumitra Khan, who has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

“We have decided to expel both Anupam Hazra and Saumitra Khan for anti-party activities,” TMC secretary general Partha Chatterjee said.

Both Khan and Hazra in recent past had spoken out against the TMC leadership.
