Congress attacks BJP government on increasing LPG prices

New Delhi | The Congress party on Monday criticised the Narendra Modi-led Union government for the increasing fuel prices.

Addressing a Press Conference, Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera said,”Modi government has time and again attacked common people by increasing fuel prices. At midnight the govt has hiked the natural gas price by 10%.”

Attacking the government, the Congress leader said,”In last 4 and half years LPG cylinder price has increased by ₹400. Even Mr. Modi doesn’t utter ‘Acche Din’ in his speeches now.” Criticising the government for its failure to control, Khera alleged, “Global crude oil prices have decreased by 55%. But the petrol price have drastically increased. In Mumbai it has crossed ₹90/litre.”

“People want to know why the relief of decreasing global crude oil price not passed down to the common people,” questioned the Congress party. Pawan Khera further alleged that small businesses are collapsing today while crony capitalists like Vijay Mallya, Nirav Modi, Mehul Choksi have run away with people’s money with the help of BJP government.
