New Delhi | The Congress party on Wednesday criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his 3 nation Africa tour during the ongoing monsoon session in the parliament.
Senior Congress leader Malikarjun Kharge said, “Prime Minister is out on a five-day tour when the Parliament session is on. The meeting could have been avoided.” Kharge further stated that the Prime Minister’s Africa visit was not an “inevitable” one. Taking a jibe at PM’s tour Kharge further said that he chose the foreign tour skipping Parliament monsoon session.
“It was not an inevitable meeting. But, since he has the absolute majority, he chooses to go on foreign tours and skips Parliament sessions,” he added.
